Augment uses camera and infrared detection, combined with app software to deliver a virtual input technique for limitless applications:
1. The technology detects input like typing, writing, sketching without any hardware such as a keyboard or mouse.
2. It creates flexibility and multi-function for tablets and all-in-one computing devices.
3. It creates limitless uses by operating in junction with different apps.
We observed typing behaviors on various keyboards includes the virtual keyboard. And these observations helped us to reveal the design points on the keyboard, which we called the UX spine.
